Frederick Andries Pretorius 
Frederick Andries' father was Nicolaas Francois Pretorius and his mother was Frederika Johanna van Blerk. His paternal grandparents were Nicolaas Francois Pretorius and Martha Susanna van der Merwe (Pretorius); his maternal grandparents were Andries Christoffel van Blerk and Maria Elisabeth Magdalena Soekoe. He had five brothers and a sister, named Andries Christoffel, Nicolaas Francois, Johan George, Paul, David Schalk and Fredrika. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Paul, Johan George and Fredricka.-
