Najiyyeh's father was Ibrahim Mohamad Arsalan Dabbous (ابراهيم دبوس 1) and her mother was Sibai (سباعي).  Her paternal grandparents were Mohamad Arsalan Dabbous (محمد أرسلان دبوس) and Safiyyah Zaghloul (صفية زغلول). She had two brothers and three sisters, named Anis, Khalil, Khadija, Fatima and Zakiyyeh.
