Rose was born on May 14th, 1899 in Coney Island, NY.  Rose's father was Louis Silberling and her mother was Anna Scheiner Silberling. She had a brother and five sisters, named Sam, Fanny, Hannah, Sadie, Mary and Belle.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  She died from cancer, ovarian, at the age of 53 in 1952 in 1958 Stuart ST, Bklyn NY.  The funeral took place in Montefiore cemetary.
