John Hazard

John was born on April 9th, 1802 in Sunderland, Durham, England and his baptism took place there on June 1st, 1802.¹ John's father is John Hazard and his mother is Ann Shotton. His paternal grandparents are Robert Hazard and Ann Johnson; his maternal grandparents are George Shotton and Frances Johnson. He had six brothers and a sister, named Robert, John, George, James, Johnson, Frances and Frances. He is the seventh oldest of the eight children.
