Male James Gaze

James was born on May 26th, 1827 in Normanton On Soar, Nottinghamshire, England.1   James' father was William Gaze and his mother is Sarah Clark.  His paternal grandparents are Joseph Gaze and Sarah. He had three brothers named John, William and Joseph.  He was the third oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 80 in September 1907.2

James and Maria were married in a religious ceremony in September 1853.3   They had two sons and three daughters, named Marshall, Arthur, Alice, Mary and Jane.
