Robert was born in 1725 in Newbiggin By The Sea, Northumberland, England and his baptism took place on February 23rd, 1725 in Northumberland, England. Robert's father is Luke Corser and his mother was Sarah Hudson.  His paternal grandfather is Thomas Corser; his maternal grandfather is Robert Hudson. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Luke and Sarah.
