Joseph Calderbank

Joseph was born in March 1829 in Walton Le Dale, Preston, Lancashire, England.¹ Joseph's father was Richard Calderbank and his mother is Elizabeth Charnley. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Calderbank and Alice Worthington. He had three brothers and nine sisters, named Richard, James, Thomas, Alice, Judith, Nancy, Ellen, Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary, Margaret and Jane. He is the second oldest of the thirteen children.
