Christopher was born in 1746.  Christopher's father was Henry Taylor and his mother was Sarah Renfro.  His paternal grandparents were John Taylor and Mary Basye. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named John, Skelton, William, Elizabeth, Chloe, Zannah, Hannah, Charlotte, Rachel and Sarah.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 87 on September 10th, 1833.
