Nancy, known as Polly, was born on February 23rd, 1833.  Polly's father was Absolom Bowers and her mother was Catherine Ann Sheets.  Her paternal grandparents were John Bower and Elizabeth Wright; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Sheets and Mary Mollie Shearer. She had two brothers and a sister, named <Unknown>, <Unknown> and Lucinda. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named John, Elizabeth and Riley.  She died at the age of 67 on March 3rd, 1900.
