Joshua Cox

Joshua was born on June 14th, 1817. Joshua's father was William (Billy) Cox and his mother was Elizabeth Reeves. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Cox and Nancy Mary Richrdson; his maternal grandparents were Jesse Reeves and Elizabeth Obedience Charity Terrill. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Jesse, John, Eli, Levi, Isom, Alexander, David, Hiram, Biddie, Jane and Margeret. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 63 in 1880.
