Nancy was born in 1788.  Nancy's father was Benjamin Adams Jr and her mother was Henryette Caudill.  Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Adams and Agnes Ezell; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Caudill and Abigail Pennington. She had three sisters named Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 92 in 1880.
