Phoebe Absher

Phoebe was born in 1827. Phoebe's father was Gowan Absher and her mother was Jane Absher. Her paternal grandparents were William Abshire and Nancy Jenkins Jennings; her maternal grandparents were John A Abshire and Eleanor Brown. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Allen, William, Abraham, Ezekiel, Edmond, Jacob, Isaac and Milly. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 33 in 1860.
