Jan's baptism took place on September 28th, 1783 in Dwingeloo, The Netherlands.1   Jan's father was Albert Jans Willems ALBERTS and his mother was Jantien BOLLINK.  His paternal grandparents were Jan Willems ALBERTS and Grietjen FRENS. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Harm, Albertje, Albert, Margrieta, Grietje, Annigje and Annegjen.
