Richard NORTHMORE 
Richard's baptism took place on November 9th, 1817 in Sampford Spiney, Devon, England.1 Richard's father was James NORTHMORE and his mother was Ann SPURRELL. His paternal grandparents were Richard NORTHMORE and Elizabeth FOOK; his maternal grandparents were Samuel SPURRELL and Patty REED. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Peter, Samuel, Samuel, James, John, Ann, Barbara and Mary. He died in 1900 in Nundle, New South Wales, Australia.1 General Notes

Richard's (RIN 100) second great grandson was Darius Bede Northmore who died in a plane crash on 21 July 1944 aged 25 years. Darius is buried in a war grave in Stoneykirk cemetery near Stranraer.
