Catherine was born about 1846 in Ontario, Canada.  Catherine's father was Martin KENNY and her mother was Mary TINNIN.  Her paternal grandparents are Patrick KENNY and Julia O'BRIEN. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas James, John, Ann, Maria, Ellen and Margaret.
