William John was born in 1884 in Ottawa.1   William John's father is Joseph ALLEN and his mother is Mary WATT.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 76 in 1960.  He was buried in Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario.2

‌William John and Mary Teresa were married in a religious ceremony on April 25th, 1911 in Carleton.3   They had a son and three daughters, named Charles, Marion, Mary Dorothy and Living.
