Rita's father was Gustavo Adolfo de Suckow Jr and her mother was Julia Rodrigues. Her paternal grandparents were Gustavo Adolfo de Suckow and Rita Clara Monteiro de Barros. She had a brother and three sisters, named Ibiracir, Maria da Gloria, Darnika and Ivan.
