Infanta de Aragão Isabel was born in 1271 in Zaragoza.  Infanta de Aragão Isabel's father was Rei de Aragão e Sicília Pedro III and her mother was Rainha da Sicília Constança de Hohenstauffen.  Her paternal grandfather was Rei de Aragão, Valência e Maiorca o Conquistador Jaime I and her paternal grandmother is Princesa da Hungria Iolanda; her maternal grandfather was Rei da Sicília Manfredo and her maternal grandmother is Beatriz de Sabóia. She had four brothers and a sister, named Rei de Aragão Afonso III, Rei de Aragão Jaime II, Rei da Sícilia Frederico II, Infante de Aragão Pedro and Infanta de Aragão Violante. She had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Jaime de, Fernando de, João de, Sancho de, Pedro de, Beatriz de and Teresa de.  She died at the age of 54 on January 7th, 1325 in Santarém.
