Josephine was born on June 18th, 1911.  Josephine's father was James (Najib) Bourjaily.  Her paternal grandfather is Assaad Abou-Rjeily. She had a brother and five sisters, named Ernest, Mabel, Nellie, Helen, Alice and Yvonne.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 47 on June 27th, 1958.
