Isabel Back

Isabel was born on April 11th, 1884 in Colônia Theresópolis, Santa Catarina, Brasil. Isabel's father was Matias Back and her mother was Maria Katharina (ou Gaetana?) Steffens. Her paternal grandparents were Jakob Back and Maria Anna Trösch; her maternal grandparents were Johann Steffens and Elisabetha Büttinger. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, João, José, Mathias, Helena and Maria. She was the youngest of the seven children.
