Gerardo was born on June 4th, 1955.  Gerardo's father is Leonardo Hofman and his mother was Celia Mila (Bobe) Schprejer.  His maternal grandparents were Alberto Schprejer and Rebeca (Angela) Chornobroff. He had two brothers named Eduardo and Fabian.  He died due to murder / assassination at the age of 23 in 1978.
