John Jardine

John was born in 1865 in Glasgow. John's father was Thomas Jardine and his mother was Mary Clark. His paternal grandparents were John Jardine and Christina Cairns; his maternal grandparents were William Clark and Janet (Jessie) Meikle. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, William, Peter, Christina Cairns and Sarah. He was the oldest of the six children. He had a half-sister named Georgina A.
