Jessie Archibald Sommers (Nett)'s father was Alexander Jeffrey and her mother was Jessie Archibald Somers Mouat. Her paternal grandparents were John Jeffrey and Janet Richardson; her maternal grandparents were Alexander Mouat and Janet Drysdale. She had four brothers named John, Alexander, William Drysdale and Lawrence. She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Pneumonia, on April 26th, 1948 in Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh.¹

Death Notes
- 20 Waterwheel, Sauchie. She was 42 when she died which would give her birth year as 1906 - Alexander her 'father' died in 1900!!! I think this is incorrect as at the time of her marriage in 1930 she was 29 which would fit.

  Grandpa says she was born in a covered wagon somewhere in Northern Ontario, this does not tie in with Alexander's death in 1900.
