Christina was born in 1841.  Christina's father was William Lawson and her mother was Ann Seath.  Her paternal grandparents were William Lawson and Catharine Chalmers; her maternal grandparents were Alexander Seath and Christina Wilson.  She had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Alexander, John, Andrew, Catherine and Ann.  She was the oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 81 in 1922.
