Ann was born in 1828.  Ann's father was John Christian and her mother was Jean Tait.  She had five brothers and three sisters, named George, David, William, John, James, Isobel, Catherine and Elizabeth.  She was the eighth oldest of the nine children.  She died due to natural causes or old age.
