Josef was born on December 8th, 1871.1  Josef's father was František Preisler and his mother was Vincencie Fialová.  His paternal grandparents were František Preisler and Josefa Řádková. He had a brother and two sisters, named František, Antonie and Aloisie.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 80 on April 16th, 1952.1
