František was born on February 24th, 1883 in Křoví u Velké Bíteše.¹ František's father was Pavel Odehnal and his mother was Františka Odehnalová. His paternal grandparents were František Odehnal and II žena; his maternal grandparents were František Šmerda and <Unknown>. He had two brothers named Bohumil and Ladislav. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 56 on September 8th, 1939.
