Milada was born in 1919.1   Milada's father was Jan Melo and her mother was Antonie Povolná.  Her paternal grandparents were Jan Melo and Josefka Prokopová. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Květoslav, Jan, Ladislav, Markéta, Klotilda, Ludmila and Marie.  She died at the age of 48 in 1967.1
