Joannes was born in March 1772 in Fryšava.1  Joannes' father was Josef Kirchner and his mother was Barbara Schilling.  His maternal grandparents were Wenceslavus Schilling and <Unknown>. He had a sister, and also a sibling of unknown gender named Anna and <Unknown>.  He was the oldest of the three children.
