Jenő (Eugénius)'s father was Poszpischil Károly and his mother was Schmidt Rozália. His paternal grandparents were Poszpischil Károly and Marschó alias Gruber Vilma; his maternal grandparents were Schmidt István and Ecker Anna. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Károly, Viktor, Aladár, Vilhelmina, Ilona, Aurélia, Malvina Mária and Etelka (Adelhaide). He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at just 17 days old on July 24th, 1873 in Szentendre.²
