Dempsey Goodman

Dempsey was born on April 28th, 1939 in Lewis County, Tennessee.¹   He died at the age of 82 on April 7th, 2022.  The funeral took place on April 10th, 2022 at McDonald Funeral Home (Hohenwald) and was arranged by McDonald Funeral Home.  He was buried on April 10th, 2022 at the Swiss Cemetery.^1 1

  Dempsey was born and raised in Lewis County and was a member of the Class of 1957. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. On March 12, 1976, he married the love of his life, Mrs. Glenda Prince. He was a member of the Hohenwald Church of Christ, he loved his family and friends dearly. In his spare time, he loved being outside and working in his yard. There were many times he mowed his yard multiple times in a week, just because he loved to do it. He loved to camp and travel, taking many trips with his family to the beach. After retirement, he and Mrs. Glenda traveled with numerous tour groups throughout the country.
