Barent Rochuszn was born about 1540 in Aalburg.1  Barent Rochuszn's father was Rochus Willemszn van Wijck and his mother was N.N. N.N..  His paternal grandfather was Willem Heijmanszn van Wijck and his paternal grandmother is Theijnsdr N.N.. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Willem Rochuszn, Adriaan Rochuszn, Anthonis Rochuszn, Jan Rochuszn, Theijns Rochusdr and Dingetjen Rochusdr.  He was the fifth oldest of the seven children.  He died in 1615 in Heusden (NL).1
