Emmeke Loije was born in 1658 in Andel and her baptism took place there on March 10th, 1658.1   Her godmother was Susanna van Sevender. Emmeke Loije's father was Jan Janszn Loijen van Vuuren and her mother was Belieken Hermansdr Heldt.  Her paternal grandparents were Jan Loijen van Vuuren and N.N. N.N.; her maternal grandparents were Herman Sebastiaenszn Heldt and Henricxsken Jansdr den Ouden. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Jan, Bastiaan Janszn Loijen, Lijsbeth, Judich, Anneke Jansdr and Geertije.  She was the youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 61 on August 2nd, 1719 in Andel.2
