Joost Aartszn was born in 1655 and his baptism took place on October 17th, 1655 in Standaardbuiten.1  Joost Aartszn's father was Aart Joostzn Soetens and his mother was Heiltje Antoniesdr Bus.  His paternal grandparents were Josef Antonieszn Soetens and Roosje Aartsdr N.N..  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 83 in 1738 in Kruisland.  The funeral took place on January 18th, 1738 in Kruisland.1 1
