Salomon Jacobszn's father is Jacob Janszn Salomons and his mother is Geertje Jansdr van Kerkwijk. His paternal grandparents are Jan Salomons and Jenneke Vanoij; his maternal grandparents were Jan Janszn van Kerkwijk and Gertjen Cornelisdr de Rijck. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Jan, Arien Jacobszn, Gijsbert, Gijsbert, Jenneke Jacobs, Lijske and Kuinderke. He was the second oldest of the eight children. Salomon Jacobszn is no longer alive.
