Dingena was born in Dussen.1  Dingena's father was Claes Arienszn van der Plas and her mother was Pleuntje Petersdr Brouwer.  Her paternal grandparents were Aerien Kuijndertszn van der Plas and Jenneken Barensdr van Cappel; her maternal grandfather is Adriaan Peterszn Brouwer and her maternal grandmother was Lijsbet Huijbertsdr van Backhuijsens. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Adrianus, Kuijndert, Kuijndert, Elisabeth, Kuijntje and Jenneken. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Arien, Jenneke Klaasdr and Sijken.  She died on July 19th, 1833 in Dussen.2
