Petrus was born in 1716 and his baptism took place on January 15th, 1716 in Amersfoort.1   His godmother was Christina Vase. Petrus' father was Matthijs Otterspoor and his mother was Willemina van Vasen.  His paternal grandparents were Pieter Otterspoor and Anthonetta van Glindhorst. He had two brothers and a sister, named Petrus, Richardus and Elisabeth.  He was the third oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 65 on September 12th, 1781 in Amersfoort.1
