Hedwig was born about 0935.1  Hedwig's father was Hugo II von der Nordgau and her mother was Hildegarde van Duitsland.  Her paternal grandparents were Eberhard III von der Nordgau and N.N. N.N.. She had two brothers named Eberhard I and Eberhard IV.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died on December 13th, 0998.1
