Aalt Lubbertszn was born in December 1740 in Putten and his baptism took place there on December 18th, 1740.1  Aalt Lubbertszn's father was Lubbert Elbertszn de Mots and his mother was Evertje Hendriksdr N.N..  His paternal grandfather is Elbert Lambertszn Gijsbertsen de Mots and his paternal grandmother was Bijltje Lubbertsdr N.N.; his maternal grandparents were Hendrick Aelszn N.N. and N.N. N.N.. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Elbert Lubbertszn, Peel Lubbertszn, Peel Lubbertszn, Henderick Lubbertszn, Gijsbert Lubbertszn, Bijtje Lubbertsdr, Hendrikje Lubbertsdr and Aeltje Lubbertsdr.  He was the youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 88 on September 23rd, 1829 in Ermelo.1
