Aaltje Joostdr was born in September 1689 in Nootdorp and her baptism took place there on September 30th, 1689.1   Her godmother was Pietertje Abrahamsdr van der Meer. Aaltje Joostdr's father is Joost Abrahamszn van der Meer and her mother is Marijtje Cornelisdr Westerveld.  Her paternal grandfather was Abraham Joostzn van der Meer and her paternal grandmother is Aaltje Mathijdsdr Poijer; her maternal grandparents are Cornelis Westerveld and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Arij Joostzn, Dirck, David, Aaltje, Neeltie, Marijtie, Pietertje, Jannitje and Jannitje.  She was the oldest of the ten children.  She died before November 5th, 1690 in Nootdorp.1
