Diericxken was born in 1610 in Capelle (Noord Brabant) and her baptism took place there on October 25th, 1610.1 2   Her godfather was Rom Peterszn Herman Aertszn and her godmothers were Aenken Jansdr, Pluenken Gielensdr. Diericxken's father was Willem Diericxen Kouwen and her mother was Maeijke Cornelisdr Seeu.  Her paternal grandparents were Adriaen Deniszn Kouwen and Jenneke Jansdr Wever; her maternal grandparents were Cornelis Adriaanszn Seeu and Maeijke Tonisdr de Leeuw. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Jan Willemszn, Claes Willemszn, Jenneken Willemsdr and Peeterken Willemsdr.  She was the oldest of the five children.
