Leentje Gerritsdr was born in 1761 and her baptism took place on July 24th, 1761 in Hardinxveld.1  Leentje Gerritsdr's father was Gerrit Corneliszn van Houwelingen and her mother was Jannigje Ariensdr van den Herik.  Her paternal grandparents were Cornelis Gerritszn van Houwelingen and Sijgje Cornelisdr Groeneweg; her maternal grandparents were Arie Ockerszn van den Herik and Annigje Jacobsdr Vinck. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Arie Gerritszn, Bastiaan Gerritszn, Daam Gerritszn, Daam Gerritszn, Gerrit Gerritszn, Leentje Gerritsdr and Sijgje Gerritsdr.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 59 on July 14th, 1820 in Giessendam.2
