Cornelia was born in 1716 and her baptism took place on January 19th, 1716 in Genderen.1  Cornelia's father is Corstiaen Haspels and her mother is Maria van Gammeren.  Her paternal grandfather was Meerten Rochen Haspels and her paternal grandmother is Geurtje Korsten. She had a brother and two sisters, named Meerten, Willemijn and Agniete.  She was the third oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 68 on January 22nd, 1784 in Wijk en Aalburg.2
