Neeltje Andriesdr was born in 1703 in Almkerk and her baptism took place there on October 26th, 1703.1   Her godfather was Joanne Cornelisdr Camp. Neeltje Andriesdr's father is Andries Dirkszn Groeneveld and her mother was Maria Jacobsdr Visscher.  Her paternal grandparents are Dirk Theuniszn Groeneveld and Andriesdr N.N.; her maternal grandparents were Jacob Wouterszn Visscher and N.N. N.N.. She had a brother and three sisters, named Teunis Andrieszn, Marike Andriesdr, Johanna Andriesdr and Dirkske Andriesdr.  She was the youngest of the five children.  She died at the age of 67 on January 9th, 1770 in Emmikhoven.2
