Corstiaan was born in 1702 and his baptism took place on December 25th, 1702 in Uitwijk.1   His godmother was Wouterken Groenenberg. Corstiaan's father was Anthoni Corsten Groenenberg and his mother was Veijferke Willemsdr van Wageningen.  His paternal grandfather is Corstiaan Thonisse Groenenberg and his paternal grandmother was N.N. N.N.; his maternal grandfather was Willem Corneliszn van Wageningen and his maternal grandmother is Geertje Pietersdr Dekker. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Adriaantje, Willem, Peeter, Willemijna, Maijken, Elizabeth and Geertje.  He was the sixth oldest of the eight children.  He died about 1740 in Dordrecht.2
