Clara was born in 1694 in Waspik and her baptism took place there on October 24th, 1694.1  Clara's father was Hendrik Janszn Grevenbroeck and her mother is Adriaentje Michielsdr Vleesch.  Her paternal grandfather was Jan Hendrix van Grevenbroek and her paternal grandmother is Maria Jorisdr N.N.; her maternal grandfather was Giel Berten Vleesch and her maternal grandmother is Anneke Adriaensdr Joncker. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Salomon, Benjamin, Herremijna, Ida and Anna. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Joris Hendrikszn, Maria Hendriksdr, Jenneke and Teuntje Hendricksdr.  She died at the age of 41 in 1735.2
