Jan was born in 1668 in Veen and his baptism took place there on January 14th, 1668 conducted by Reverend Cornelius de Kranckel.1  Jan's father is Dirck Janssen van den Ende and his mother is Lijksen Janssen van den Heuvel.  His paternal grandparents are Jan van den Ende and N.N.. He had a sister named Johanna.  He was the younger of the two children.  Jan is no longer alive.
