Hendrik was born in 1693 in Capelle (Noord Brabant) and his baptism took place on February 8th, 1693 in Waspik.1 2  Hendrik's father was Aert Michielszn Duyser and his mother was Adriaantje Hendriksdr Heijmans.  His paternal grandparents were Michiel Toniszn Duijser and Teuniske Romboutsdr Leempoel; his maternal grandparents were Hendrick Arienszn Heijmans and Geertruijt Melsdr Schep. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Michiel, Johannes, Antoni, Anthonetta, Geertruijt, Johanna and Maria.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 54 on June 6th, 1747 in Aalburg.3
