Adrianus was born on May 8th, 1809 in Zaltbommel and his baptism took place there on May 9th, 1809.1 2   His godmothers were Cornelius en Christina van Kessel, Hendrina van Kessel. Adrianus' father was Jan den Drijver and his mother was Maria van Kessel.  His paternal grandparents were Christoffel den Drijver and Neeltje van den Anker. He had four brothers named Hendrik, Peter, Johannes and Gerrit.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 7 on November 11th, 1816 in Ammerzoden.1
