Anthonie Anthoniszn Pleunen was born in March 1663 in Dussen and his baptism took place there on March 11th, 1663 conducted by Reverend Hermanni van der Haeghen.1  Anthonie Anthoniszn Pleunen's father was Anthonie Pleunen van Crimpen and his mother was Jenneken Jansdr van Uijthoven.  His paternal grandparents were Pleun Jacobszn van Crimpen and Neelke Thunisdr Pallingh; his maternal grandparents were Jan Anthoniszn van Uijthoven and Maayken Thonisdr N.N.. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Jacob Anthoniszn, Cornelis Anthoniszn Pleunen, Jan Anthoniszn Pleunen, Neeltje Anthonisdr, Lijsbeth Anthonisdr Pleunen, Thrijntje Anthonisdr Pleunen, Aerjaentje Anthonisdr Pleunen and Teuntje Teunisdr.  He is the fifth oldest of the nine children.
